Cynthia received her Bachelor of Science in Health Science & Physical Therapy at the University of Missouri in 1979. After relocating to Cave Creek from Missouri, she opened Carefree Physical Therapy (formerly Foothills Physical Therapy) in 1987 to serve the Carefree, Cave Creek, and north valley areas. In 1996, she was certified as a Geriatric Specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists, and in 2008 became an ASTYM certified provider.

In 2005, Cynthia was awarded with the Lucy Blair Service Award for exceptional contributions to the American Physical Therapy Association. Over the years, Cynthia has proudly coordinated the Annual Foothills 10K running event, served on the Arizona physical therapy medical team for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk in 2004, 2005, and 2006, and continues to volunteer throughout the community. Cynthia is a founding member of PTPN of Arizona.
